A geriatric care assistant is a qualified healthcare professional who works in conjunction with the doctors and nurses in providing elderly care. They are mainly trained and involved in elderly care.
After getting certified as geriatric care assistant one can work as a nursing assistant or an elder care assistant in old age homes they can also work as physician assistants who work in old age homes apart from working in government and private hospitals. They can also opt for job in home care.
Average salary ranges from 2,20,000 to 2,80,000 per annum
Any candidate who is 12th pass with any stream and willing to work with geriatric or old age population
